Hallo everybody, I'm new here and not a quite a pro with swish but I'm able to do pretty nice things. I got hired by some people to make a website. This is my fourth website in swish but I never encountered such a problem, here's what's going on: So far I created the intro page and works fine on the main browsers such as microsoft explorer, mozilla and google chrome. The problem comes when it gets to the index page on internet explorer, it doesn't load it. It works perfectly on the other browsers. You may check my core website www.w3ms.it which works perfectly everywhere even with slow connections. The one I'm creating is www.w3ms.it/topclass/intro.html if you click on the link it directs you on the intro page and shows no problem. So far only the italian flag is working, so if you click on it it directs you to the index page that just doesn't want to work on internet explorer...anybody can help, is it a validation problem, if so I can I solve it? It's quite important because I need to show progress to my clients and don't know what to do!! Thanks.

I sent a test in your contact form,

Every page on the site loads great for me. For example, I know you have a preloader on every page.

I am on IE8 and Firefox, mainly Firefox. Everything is a little bigger in I.E than Firefox but nothing is misplaced.

It looks nice...well done!

I am on Windows7

My screen size is 1600x1200

Thats lovely Rik,

In view source where are your links to the flags? If the two were linked right then when I moused over the flags a hand would appear to take me there but no hand so no link to go to.

This is how a link is created..

<a href="http://www.panda.org/who_we_are/wwf_offices/singapore/?187822/Adam-Tomasek-Leader-of-the-Heart-of-Borneo-in-Singapore" target="_blank">Heart of Borneo</a>

You need the two address' that your non working flags are on one each link between the <a>and the</a>.

Thank you for replying. Everything loads fine because I found out the solution to the problem. I use google chrome as my browser, so when I exported the file to html it generated it into chrome format and didn't load on IE. I just changed the settings, generating the html as IE format and everything loads perfectly. Thank you. I even received the email...all sorted out tnx

I looked at everything, sent a test message through your contact form. Now that was weird because my enter key for a new line was not entering a new line in the form.

I had to keep pressing my space bar for the new line.

I have a code for an IE bug but it may not be for the same problem as yours. This code is for a menu not displaying correctly.

Try here first.

http://browsershots.org/

Look at your errors and warnings here. Correcting those may make it all work successfully.

thanks for the update on the contact form...ill look into it.

I looked at the errors & warnings,.. and it looks like they all point to the flash player... i recently updated to flash player 10,.. looking to see if their are any other complaints on this. besides that I have no idea on how to correct the errors,.. i'm still new at this.

Thanks for all your help

Last year SWiSH was released as a tool that can animate text: you had a handful of effects that could not only make you text dance -- it would practically do the Macarena. Easy to use, the product's interface was not cluttered, nor too complex .

Hmm...yea but...could it do the Salsa too...hahahaha

Are you talking about Swishlite? lol

Take a look at Swishzone. I got Swish text animator (lite) free from a magazine way back in 2003/4

I then bought Swish2, then Swishmax1 Now the more complicated Swishmax has arrived which I won't buy unless forced, I have no real use for moving up.
