Please see attached. The logic is that onpress of a page it should swap depth to goto top, but doesnt work for some reason.

remember the swapDepths command is not recognised by the internal Swish player, but works happily within the exported SWF.

the other (very minor issue) was you needed to refer to the swap depths movie clip by their full path names _root.page1.flip etc.

It doesnt work at all in my browser. Are you sure you are understanding what I want to occur? I have the two sprites which are comprised of two images each. I want on press of the top sprite it to flip and display its second page and then on press of next sprite it to do the same, but it should display over the first sprite as a page flipping over another page. It doesnt do that, but I see no reason why it shouldnt.

well i noticed two different effects when played in the internal player and when it was played in SWf in a web page, the effect looked ok, and the swapdepths worked fine.

tho without really understanding what you are trying to point out. when i click on the first image (special moment in time)the "book" opens up to show "a day at the zoo" ont he left and "a happy girl" on the right, the open animation looks correct, and the transition imaging is visually correct also.

Clicking on the "happy girl", the right hand side page flips over on top of the zoo pic to show the "butt pic" image - again image transition works fine.

I see my mistake. You were correct, but I needed the _root.page1 and not just page 1 versus your instruction for root.page1

Im sure your just joking, but in case your not. No one here that has an exportable version and is sharing their work is Flaunting anything. These exportable versions are still betas just like the ones everyone else are using with the one exception being that they are able to export. We are still reporting bugs just like you so that when you all are able to purchase the release version it will export and do so with minimal bugs.

Like I said im sure you were just kidding, but if not I hope this clarifies things.

If you cannot see how fortunate we all are to benefit from the amazing work our Swish masters are generous enough to share with us at S-T, and how lots of people who do not have exportable versions but are knuckling down, reporting bugs, having a go and LEARNING, then showing us all as well, then bud you have no idea what a HELP forum is all about
