I started building a new Swish site. It still looks as a 2 Advanced replica. But that's because I like the interface of the 2 Advanced website.
The site, when finished, although I think it will be updated often, will contain links to Swish sites, some animations to download and examen.
Alot of the Swish knowledge I have ( I am still a newby), I learned from sites like this.
The site isn't perfect, but I am still working on it.
I am dutch so it's possible that the grammar isn't always as it shoud be.

The linksmovie isn't finished yet, I am working on it and when I have some sparetime I will add more downloads.

Well first of all I would like to say. That the website layout looks good. but if this is your first web site then it looks great.I don't know what your going for but other that it looks good.It is kind of dull maybe you could add more interactive when you launch the real thing:cool:

I hope you are just practicing with your 2A look-a-like, I hope you are not going to actually use it. It is nice to see what SWiSH can do but to take someone else's design and use it is ethically wrong. It does look good though, I'll give you that.

BTW where did you get the source for the moving clouds? I have been looking for clouds but none seem right, yours look good! Is it possible that you could post the .swi or email it to me? Thanks

Maybe you could lose the underline in the links on your home-page and just keep the white dots. I'm afraid I didn't get to see the rest of your site, it took a tad too long to load [telefoon-verbinding :( ] But thats my problem!

like the site but the only thing is you cant close the sound menu down :sing: i know you can drag it but once your finished with it you cant close it .

I changed the soundmenu so it can be closed now. Thought it wasn't usefull to close it, because it's dragable and after closing it has to reload again.

It is a very nice site, and nicely done, yet the fact that it's a 2A look-a-like takes all that and just throws it out the window.

looks really good for a first time site, careful of copyright though

I started making websites about 8 years ago. First just html and later with java. But there were long periods that I didn't make or change a website and a long time I was more intrested in visual basic. And it takes alot practising to make something with VB.
Between that I worked some time with flash 4, but the last 3 years I didn't spend much time practising webdesign. Just last winter I downloaded Swish and it took some time before I started working with it and at first I tried to copy websites made with Flash to see if Swish was able to.
And I must admit that most animations I made till know are not always looking unique, although I always made them. Sometimes with a little help from other Swishers.
The last weeks I spend alot time working with Swish, although I didn't create much and spend much time reading the forum :)

But in webdesign there is happened alot since HTML and I don't know if I will test everything there is at the moment.
A friend of me has Flash MX, but it's alot more diffecult then flash 4 and Swish and the coming time I will stay with Swish I think. But you never know what gets my intrest in the coming months.

becouse if you work on more that 2 websites you get ,, :confused:

just ceep it up with your new site very simpel and you have allready added som downloads to it + the links and all !
you just need to change the music controler so it do not close up just draging !

and you can also add something like !
the visitors can choos from a backgrounds ! I see that you have meny cool backgrounds ! background controler !;)
