Adventure-type game using number quizzes.

1. Use the Moonscape template.
2. Place loads of little sprites everywhere, but with a stop in the 1st frame that hides them and a rollover action further on in the sprite that is activated by telltargetting the sprite to go to the frame after the stop.
3. Let the player find the first sprite, or give the first clue. The clue must revolve around numbers and must direct the player to a specific co-ordinate, which can be found using the x/y display. The second sprite is then activated using tell-target. Give another clue, activate the second sprite, etc.
4. So only the next sprite that needs to be found, is 'activated' or will react to a rollover at any time.
5. The sprites found, could reveal pieces of a picture or something (maybe a nekkid Alien woman).

Could be interesting - any takers??

Wow, I love the game idea AIL!

As I read through your post I could envision playing it.

It seems like a fun project.

Im unsure how to go about activating the correct sprites in sequence.
I guess using your cursor the player would have to get the correct co-ords to advance since the hand wont appear and give it away just by moving the mouse around.

Maybe you could give an example and that would make it more clear.

Also, I think it would be cool to have a few different scenes for the player to advance through before completing the game (or finding the nekked alien)

Maybe a few of us can collaborate on this ie. - complete a scene or a level as an .swf and then combine them together as the finished work.

Is something like that ever been done here yet?

Of course the game parameters and other details would have to be established for such project.

But it would be an interesting challenge and I know there is a lot of interest in game creation here.

What do you think?
