however Moderators are usually "invited" to be Moderators by the Webmaster.
Thats the standard practise.

And you are right, it has nothing to do with Swish

Well, as John mentioned -- it is general practice that Moderators are picked by the Administrator or Webmaster ...

For now -- I think there are enough Moderators on this forum (since there isn't a LOT of activity yet) ... In the future there may be a need for more ....

I have fairly strict "guidelines" for picking Mods ... (and I wouldn't be the only one picking them -- I trust my current Mods, and their opinions would be a factor as well) ...

Just in case you wanted that much "info" :)

There's no easy or quick fix. You'll have to show that you're up for it:
1. Make sure you follow all posts carefully and learn as much as you possibly can about Swish.
2. Show your willingness to help others by posting examples and answers to all the questions.
3. Always act in a sensible and courteous way when helping others and forget ego trips.

Stick to this and you'll be noticed soon. It's no joyride being a mod, but it's very rewarding if you enjoy helping others It's also a great way to learn a lot in a short space of time.

That's exactly what I was trying to do over at FK, yet I didn't have enough posts, nor did I make the recent cut of new mods; which I think they are full on mods now.

Yet I am very pleased Brian has chosen me to be a mod among the 'leet' of the SWiSH community. Thanks again Brian. ;)

Yes the key word is "Helping others " .. Im a Mod for another Site .. its not a Flash related one .. More on Coding,Programming stuff.. Anyhow its fun and useful and keeps one on her/his toes..

Nice Mods here .. I see they are all good Swishers.. Brian chose wisely ;)
